StorySprout has no accounts and keeps no database of users or stories, so there is very little to delete. Here is exactly where data lives and how to remove it.
Stored only on your device. Deleting the app permanently deletes all of it. We have no copy and cannot recover it.
If you purchased a subscription, RevenueCat (our subscription service) holds an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipts — nothing about your child or their stories. To have this record deleted, email mike@profsearch.net with the subject "Data deletion request" and we will delete it within 30 days. No other information is needed, though including the approximate purchase date helps us find the record.
Your payment details are held by Apple or Google, not by us; those are managed through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Story text is processed transiently to write your child's book and is not stored by us, so there is nothing to delete. If you have any concern about data, email mike@profsearch.net and we will help.
