These terms apply to the StorySprout app ("the app"), made by Michael Lazaro. By using the app you (the parent or guardian of the child using it) agree to them.
StorySprout lets children co-write illustrated stories with AI assistance. Story text is generated by an AI model based on the child's choices. AI-generated content can occasionally be imperfect; we apply child-appropriate content rules to every request, but we cannot guarantee any particular output. Stories belong to you — use them however you like, including printing and sharing the PDFs.
Don't attempt to misuse the story service (for example, trying to make it produce content inappropriate for children, or accessing it outside the app). We may update, limit, or discontinue features to keep the app safe and sustainable.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the laws of your place of residence.
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
